2026 Edition
We often start the year with Resolutions. But resolutions are usually just to-do lists in disguise. They demand that you do more.
A True North is different. It is not a task; it is a direction.
The Goal:
In this reflection, we aren't looking for what you want to achieve. We are looking for who you want to be while you achieve it.
When the world gets loud or your plans get derailed (and they will), a Compass helps you find your way back.
10 Minutes • Guided Reflection • Private
Before we look forward, we must honor what has passed. List 3 highlights from the last year (or two). These could be achievements, moments of joy, or challenges you overcame.
Growth requires pruning. What mindsets, habits, or burdens are you still carrying that you do not want to bring into 2026?
Look at the person you are today versus a year ago. How are you different? Who is the "You" that is emerging?
Fast forward to December 2026. If this year goes exactly how you hope, how do you want to feel inside your body and mind?
Read your own reflections below. Notice which words make your heart beat a little faster. These are clues.
Brainstorm: Based on the text above, identify 3 potential words that could guide your year.
Look at your 3 ideas. Which one holds the most energy for you? Which one feels like the right direction?
A True North gives you direction. But to get there, you need to navigate the internal blocks (Saboteurs) and external challenges that get in the way.
